Stephanie is in her 21st year teaching visual arts. She teaches at the high school level, mainly in the areas of graphic design, 3D modeling, and animation. She has a BFA in 2-Dimensional Studies, a Master’s degree in Educational Technology Management and is currently a department chair for her building leadership team. Outside of school she works on commissions and children’s books in pastel, charcoal, and graphite.
In the comics world she is editor-in-chief for Sean Forney Illustration and Savage Mind Comic Studio, where she maintains the books/accounting, website, flats artwork, writes, edits and formats all the art and books, and keeps the family dogs occupied. She co-created Scarlet Huntress with Sean, which led to a spin-off children’s book Little Red Riding Hood: Origins of a Huntress which Steph wrote and illustrated. She writes all of the Scarlet Huntress stories and is currently working on the next story arc.
